Warm Fuzzies

Do you ever experience this feeling where every hair end on your body is on attention? And you can literally feel pure energy coursing through your veins, like a million molecules of static electricity flowing along with your blood. I get that feeling when someone hugs me with sisterly affection. Or gives me any unexpected gifts. Or even a simple handwritten Thank You note, for something I would have lent them. I don't have any sisters and all of my cousins are way too elder, and my family wasn't the touchy-feely kind. But my husband has many cousins and his family is super touchy-feely. So off late I've felt this more often than not. Warm Fuzzies is the correct word for it I guess. And yet those 2 words aren't enough to describe this thing that I feel. Warm fuzzies are lovely to receive. Most people here give each other a hug when they meet.

I love the image. These days with Covid protocols we have to restrain ourselves from too much touching.
