This is my tank for now what’s different from this one is l added new kinds of plants in it. Before I only have three or four varieties but now its more than that when I tried buying 2 my seller gave me freebies to try on my tank which is why it looks a bit crowded anymore.

Thank you. I am not as good as others who can aquascape very good and they have certain rules to observe and follow to get the best place to put plants and hardscapes.

I really did not plan how it will look. I just made it as natural as it looks. But I envy other tanks that are well aquascape.

@DianneN Thanks! I am glad you appreciated my random design. I think it would not pass if I submit that to a competition haha...

Yes, I feel relaxed seeing the plants with the fish. I think the fish like it as well as they can hide there when they feel threatened or needs to rest from everyone. It also is a good hiding place for my fries when the fish gives birth from time to time

Thanks so far my fish enjoy it and they are not that uneasy since they have nooks and crannies to hide when they feel the need to rest or they feel threatened.

Just hoping that the new plants wpuld not melt because that is what happens when a plant is introduced into anew environment they would melt nd they die if they cannot adapt to their new environment

@Kandae11 That usually happens tha is why I am keeping a close watch with them. Some of them are not that easy to maintain crossing fingers that I can take good care of them.

@jobelbojel I am trying to save those that adapted well on my tank. Every weekend I usuall cut the over growth and replant some of them.

Most of my plants were predominantly hydrilla and guppy grass. There are cabomba's and others. But my java moss was the main attraction of it. From then on I stopped adding new plants to my aquariums. It's all trimming every once a month. Again, you got a beautiful tank.

Thanks! I tried buying online and they gave me freebies that is why my tank is again full of plants. Yesterday, my java moss arrived and placed it on my rock so that it will look more alive and placed pinnatifida plant as well. I forgot to take a picture of it right now how my rock looks like. I am just hoping that they would not melt. But I think plants help the tank control algae growth since the plants compete with them to consume the nutrients in my substrate and water.

Thanks, it took me a year to have the plants grow like that. Since then, I have had to trim them weekly to control their growth and pleasing to the eyes.

@cacay1 Well have to look for those plants that are hardy and could survive. Anyway, most of the plants they were given were for free so I guess their loss would not be as painful for those that I bought.

Yes, but I have to keep watch since some plants that were delivered to me are said to be hard to cultivate. I am hoping that they would survive my aquarium. They might look good right now since they were just there for a few days but in time we will see if they will indeed survive or melt.

I think that I have somehow lessened the plants as they are growing pretty crowded as usual. I have added this Red Tiger Lotus which gives a difference in the background plants since the leaves are different from the rest since it is reddish and greenish and the leaf shape is that of a heart. I hope it survives my aquarium as most plants when introduced to a new environment usually melt at first before then adapting to their surroundings. I have no pictures of them yet as of this time.
