What's for breakfast on this sunny and warmish Wednesday?

I got called in to work at the preschool for a few hours this morning. I will be with the Pampers set, but I'll see my big kids as well. In the afternoon I work at Guitar Center from 2 PM to 8:30 PM, so it's going to be a long day. Because I'm moving fast, I had an easy breakfast this morning: an egg, sunny side up (do they call it that where you live?) with some sharp cheddar and Sorrano pepper on top. One slice of bacon on the side. What did you have for breakfast today? And of course, how is the weather there? I think it's supposed to reach 70 F (about 21 C) here today. We'll see if it happens.

Nothing. Sir, with all due respect I keep on telling you I do not eat breakfast. Why do you keep asking me this? lol

@PhredWreck Okay. You got me. Kind of. I mean, my dinner Monday night was scrambled eggs. But it was dinner, not breakfast, even if it was breakfast food. lol

@TheSojourner I don't know what it was, but I heard it too. I think the ghosts are trying to get my attention...

Breakfast sounds good. I was in a hurry so I had cereal, a slice of cinnamon raisin bread - Ezekiel Bread, and a banana. I know you'll do well at the pre-school. I hope you survive the Guitar Center. A long day indeed.

It is almost dinner time here and I am going to make Moroccan koftas (sort of spicy meatballs) with a yogurt sauce and spicy chickpeas as a side dish. I have not decided what to drink.

It's almost Jack Benny's birthday (Feb 14), so Brie, my favorite Upstairs Pastry Chef, made Love In Blueberry Pancakes (Because Love In Bloom was Jack's theme song, which I don't have to tell you but I do have to mention it anyway because lots of kids who have never even heard Love In Bloom read these comment threads). I didn't have any. Because I don't like blueberries.

@TheHorse No. In fact, if she keeps serving blueberries, I'm going to sell her to the highest bidder. I've been told that buying and selling people isn't legal in the Liberal Utopian Kingdom Of California anymore, so if you want to bid, you'll have to do it from your Montanna House.

Are you trying to fatten Brie up so others won't steal her from you?

Yes, they call it sunny-side-up. I had a protein bar for breakfast yesterday. The weather was above freezing; so we got rid of some of the white crap. Still a lot to go!

What kind of work do you do with the pamper set kids? I'm just curious so if you can't splain that's ok. You had a light breakfast, not me, I had a pot of tater and spinach 'soup' .... well, kinda soup anyway .... it was tasty.

Lunch, of course. An “old folks” chicken and cheese burrito at a local Tex-Mex place.

I was just thinking about going in and looking for something to eat. I've only been awake since a few minutes after 8 am. And "warmish" by whose standards? It's 35F here. We're supposed to go over 60F here today. (Weather sirens have been going off here for the last ten minutes but nobody knows why they're going off. I don't know who to call to find out, either.)

Have a fun day at work. Yes, we say sunny side up. I like eggs scrambled beat. That’s what I had for breakfast with a green salad and a slice of whole-wheat.

Sorrano Pepper sounds interesting! May be we have spices with similar ingredients here as well but well things do vary from place to place! Looks like the temperature ranges you are having are similar to what we have - in a way initial spring time. Wishing you a nice Friday!

I had my dinner an hour ago and it was just tomatoes soup. My husband and daughters had chicken left from lunch. I didn't feel like eating as I had a bit heavy lunch and was mostly sitting with my laptop after lunch.
