Red Birds Chirping

I saw two red birds today. They were females because instead of brilliant red they were a drab reddish brown. The were flying from tree to tree chirping. I’m pretty sure they were looking for mates although if any males were out they were hiding.
It’s sunshine and blue sky today. I would guess temperatures are in the fifties. A good day to enjoy being outside. I went for a long walk and stopped at the gym to work out. They have plenty of wet wipes so I wiped everything down before using. You can’t be too safe these days. Now I’m home resting and mylotting . What have you guys been up to today?
The picture is spring at the park which I hope to see soon.

Maybe those two were being overly aggressive while looking?
I've met women who scared the stuffing out of me by being overly aggressive.

@RubyHawk I wouldn't doubt it at all.
Several times I've recruited my daughter to help me fend off overly aggressive women. Pretty thinks it's funny that a grown man needs help escaping from women.

@DaddyEvil You have to admit it’s pretty funny. Usually it’s the man that’s aggressive but not always.

@RubyHawk I know what you mean. It happens to me all the time here. Daughter works a lot and most days, Clay just stays in his room and sleeps or plays video games. and of course nights are spent with her trying to rest and get a bit of sleep if he isn't trying to argue with her.

@RubyHawk After a local news story mentioned that the city and state government have done a poor job of repairing the houses after Hurricanes Laura and Delta passed over Lake Charles in 2020, the house inspectors are coming to see if the house is in livable condition which it is in good shape compared to the other houses that have had to be vacated due to unsafe living conditions.

@Deepizzaguy I’m so sorry about the damage to your home. Did they repair your home up to standard or will you have to do further work yourself?

Much of the same old same old. Just working here and posting. Hoping to do well earning today. Enjoying the peace in quiet while I have it because my husband is at work. So I'm taking advantage of it. He'll have ,at the very least, the next four days off.

Our temps have been on the cold side for the last couple of weeks, but this weekend we're going to have mild spring-like temps in the mid-70s. And of course, first thing this morning I heard a cardinal right outside my window chirping away. I even commented to my girlfriend that this is the first signal that we are about to head into spring!
