You might be thinking who are they. They are my old man and lovely mother who are enjoying a pandemic-free environment in heaven now. Their lives went by too fast in this world. In memory of them, I attached a photo to remember them today. This is a photo of the day when they got married. It was a courthouse wedding and they also got married in the church. I am planning to restore it and put it in a frame soon. These old photos that I have are for keeps. Are you fond of seeing old photos?

I think they just look young in this old photo. As far as I could remember, they married a bit late. My mom got married at the age of 30 and my dad is 35.

@LadyDuck Nope. My mom is 5 years younger. If I am going to be restored, it will not be faded. I have to find the copy since my younger sister requested to do so.

@Shavkat - I thought that your mother was older than your father, this was looking at this photo. It is true that the photo is black and white and a little faded.

@Shavkat probably the lighting. Her face looks more washed out in the photo probably making her look older. She looks very elegant I think.

She is 5 years younger than my dad. Perhaps the makeup was not good way back then.

I can agree more about my old man. When I was a kid, I can see some women taking a second glance at my dad. In fact, we are alike.

I am his younger version.

I am flattered by your words, Bonnie. There is no need to see a photo of me. I am a younger version of my old man. I have three other siblings. I am the eldest, followed by a sister, and two younger brothers.

Your parents were a lovely couple. How long were they married? I do like old photos. I have one of my grandparents from back in the 1930s that I treasure.

I think they were married 35 years. Speaking of my granny, I received a piece of bad news from my younger sister. She cannot stand and does not want to eat this month. I guess she is really old at age 103.

She did in a church. In this photo, they were married by a judge, and no need to wear a wedding gown here. Yes, I changed my name with the combination of my parents' names.

Yes, I have an old photo of my parents when they got married. It's a beautiful memory, for me. Dad lived to be 92 and Mom lived to be 90.

Old photos are always fun to look at. It makes me wonder, with the advent of digital pictures, if pictures will be viewed like we do the old ones? Or how many of them might be lost forever?

In a digital world, they can restore old photos but cannot capture all of them. They still need to crop or remove certain things to complete the restoration.

It's a good memorabilia. I love old photographs, its good to reminisce and even if the photo is much older than I am I still admire it. How I wish I am able to save old photographs, none was left after ST Yolanda/Haiyan.
