Slowly Winning the Battle

It’s been a few since my last post. Happy to let you know that I am slowly pulling it together.
Little Miss is happy to see me smile and laugh more. I am glad to be able to do this too.
Hubby is still on the road a lot. We seem to be getting along much better. I know my miserable attitude was due to the depression. The medication seems to help quite a bit. I’m not a crazy biach anymore. Well, not as much anyway.
I have been more active. A friend gets me out and about. We go shopping together at least once a week. This gives me about 3500 steps on each day. That’s huge for me. Can’t wait for warm weather to get here so I can walk outside.
There is sunshine on even the gloomiest days. We just need to look for it. Thankful I am seeing it more often.

I kept myself hidden until I was ready to shine again. I have days where I’m a little gloomy, but it is short lived. I am finding more reasons to laugh and smile again.

@ElusiveButterfly I’m happy for you. Been down myself because of losing two beloved pets so suddenly.

I'm glad the medication is working for you. And as the weather improves, your outlook should, too. Hang in there.

Because of icy conditions I can’t get outside as often as I’d like too. I still don’t like the cold weather but I love the fresh air. I bring Little Miss outside to go sledding and listening to her laughter brings me joy.

I am happy that you are feeling much better and more like your old self again.
Feeling depressed is hard, especially at this time of the year.
I have often felt the February blues as we often refer to them as around here.
February would have been our daughter's birthday, its an emotional time.

I find myself standing near a window and let the sun shine on my face. It warms me and lifts my spirits too.
Hugs to you.
