I am reading the Diary of Ma Yan and it's about struggles of a young woman. She wrote a diary about her daily lives including her school life. Her story teaches us to be grateful for what we have.Ma Yan values education and she believes that through finishing her education and finding a job, she can be able to help her family. It can be really interesting and enlightening to read about the lives of young people. I'm reading a book about indigenous Australians at the moment. It is quite enlightening too.

Glad to know about your book. I am reading a book called Life is what you make it by Preeti Shenoy. It's about her own story, her struggle with depression, love loss, how she overcome it. It's very inspiring

Foundation and Empire by Isaac Asimov. Second of a series of sci-fi novels all I've already read once before. The entire series deals with how the fictional field of psychohistory (statistical laws that govern massive numbers of people's behaviours) predicts the downfall of an empire of 25 million planets, the dark ages that follows and the series of crises and crisis-resolutions that would lead to the emergence of a second empire.
