Rainy Day Thursday

Listening to the raindrops fall. Hoping the storms stay away later.
Talked to my cousin earlier. She tested negative for COVID and has a sinus infection. Glad to hear that. She had a fever and nasal congestion.
Too many jump to conclusions lately about COVID. Sometimes we just have a cold, or the flu, or sinus issues. Anyway, I was happy for her. She has antibiotics to take.
Photo is mine. A butterfly gift a few years ago to enjoy.

That’s quite beautiful!!
I’m listening to the rhythm of the falling rain (as the song said), too. I told my brother I’d have to put on a wet suit and scuba gear to get the garbage can to the curb, so. I’m staying home. Right now the tornado watch ends at Jackson, Tennessee and is covering Memphis (they can’t seem to buy a break lately….do they even have the power restored from that ice storm two weeks ago????), along with Mississippi and Arkansas. My friends in Louisiana are on the very tail end of the watch box.
You keep an eye on it, enjoy some rainy day beverage (tea for me), and have a great day!

Strange times where we are glad it is just a sinus infection! I spent Thursday stocking up for today's big storm. I think they said winds up to 90 MPH, between 10AM and 3PM, hope that is true as we've only a few hours to go before it moderates. Fingers crossed!

Sky is dark and I'm waiting for the rain. Perfect afternoon to finish my book.
Glad your cousin tested negative and hope the antibiotics clear up her sinus infection quickly. Covid is always the first thing that comes to mind

Yes too many jump straight to covid. It's very annoying. Glad she's dealing with something else and is on her way to being better

Great news & such a relief, it's not covid! We were supposed to get rain, today all last week, 45-59% rain forecasted for today. My appointment day was today, so I prayed and got a sunny day, miracle! What a relief. I got an angel cloud to share with you. I went to get my mail, looking at weather. Noticed the angle cloud & thought of you.
