One of those days.

Today started out as a high pain day full of misery. Pain meds and a little work out and sunlight seemed to take my pain away. Which was nice. But, then when I got inside, the smoke dector in our bedroom decided to start. Thankfully, this time, my husband was home and it wasn't busy. It thankfully happened this evening instead of in the middle of the night. Chilly startled and almost ran under the bed. However, he stayed put once I started petting him. He's a little tense though. Then a scammer tried to scam me, but as soon as he found out about my age, he quickly changed his mind and I hung up on him. I am starting to think some of thease senior scammers really don't want my money, or aren't smart enough to tap into another market.

The scammers seem to call us daily. It is really sad that many people get taken by these callers.

Yes it is a pity they are so easily taken in.

I’m sorry you were in pain. These scammers are something else. Most of the time I don’t answer unless I know who’s calling.

A lot of times I'll ignore them, too. And, my phone seems to get less and less.

You don't need one, to get scammed. People do it through e-mail and other methods.

Scammers are bad news for all of us when they try to sell items that we do not need at all and their lies of winning money or an auto in exchange for money.

...And, then you have those, like today, who aim for a select age group. Who, aren't smart enough to realize the untapped market they are missing out on. I'm assuming they don't want money THAT badly.

However, since I'm smart and don't want to give them my hard-earned cash.... I am not going to tell them they're missing out on some untapped potential. Though, most scammers don't like being called out for scamming.... so.... guess their loss? Right? @Deepizzaguy
