Ending my day on a gross note.

It's like my cat, Chinnia, knew. She spent the majority of the day in my husband's office, on what he loving calls the pod (only because it tended to be a catch all room when we first moved) It's much clearer now, but we still call it our 'pod'.
As I was setting up to bring back my 2 in 1 to charge, sit down and get a little work done, I nearly sat in cat vomit, because at some point, Chinnia vomited in my chair.
I'm thankful that tonight is laundry night and I can clean this stuff up.

Yeah, that's not fun. I hope you saw it before you used those slippers.

My cats when they cat food that disagrees with them do have the bad habit of throwing up on the floor.

If a cat is going to vomit, the floor is the best place.

Nah I actually sat and felt it as I lowered myself into the chair.

Sorry for the inconvenience you have had accidentally sitting on your chair with your cat's vomit.

I moved as soon as I felt it and I didn't lower myself completely down. So it was easy to clean up.

As cat owners; my husband and I have multiple cats; I always try to look before I walk, sit, touch, or anything else.
For the most part I manage to stay out of trouble.

Cats do this usually because of furr or hair balls. It's a side effect of the self-grooming they do.

Aww, she made a surprise for you. I think the worst is on a very cold frosty winter morning putting on slippers and one of them has a very bit wet cold hairball in it,

I hate cleaning up vomit. As a parent and grandparent, of course I have done it many times, add in all the pets, too. But it's still not fun. So sorry she did that in your chair.

No, it's not. I just wish I could've caught her in the act.
