Hi everyone. This is my first blog and I want to discuss how I love poetry. Poetry is such a thematic and wonderful art to create. Words that fulfill something empty. Poetry doesn't have to be perfect or very good, it just has to represent who you are and what you love. I would like to share my poetry, a little freestyle of mine.
On a rainy day
My windows are foggy and my feet are cold
Coffee in my hand and eyes closed
Thinking for the rain to go north
North, where the mountains are
Where the trees are
Where my dreams lie
Something I'd see when I cry
Each breath I take keeps me awake
To the thought, this rain will never go away
I've never been so blue nor so red
I thought this rainy day should just stay

That's a really good poem. I used to write poetry but not any more.

This is beautiful with a really nice rhythm, it reminds me of Sylvia Plath in a sense
