When sitting on the front porch pays off

I was sitting on the front porch today and seen a man from the phone company pull in to the yard next door, we both waved and then in a few miniutes he pulled into my yard. I'm so glad that I was sitting on the porch. I started talking to him and ask what he thought could be the problem with my internet. I told him for about the last month my internet connection would just go off. I donlt know why, but it seened like this happened a lot while I was on Facebook, it would all of a sudden state something on the lines of there is no internet signal. He told me he was doing a little maintenance and checking different boxes and mine was one. He told me he was checking the box at the road and then he would go check everythng hooked up behing the house to. He came back and said the connecters by the house was old and in bad shape. He even came in and hooked something to my wifi box. After he left, I was thinking if I wouldn't have been out there and talked to him, he would have done like he did next door. When he had pulled in next door, he had got out checked the box at the road and left. So I'm pretty sure that's what he would have done with mine to if I wouldn't have there.
