We all have busy life and have a lot of responsibilities to take care of. And whether we admit it or not there maybe times where we feel alone and down. Thats what I am feeling right now. Occassionally i feel lonely being in a foreign country. I have a wonderful family here, a husband and a 2 year old daughter. But there are times I still feel the aloneness and emptiness. I guess its because of the routinary of my everyday life. I haven't find a group of friends here in foreign country of similar interest. During this covid outbreak its just so difficult to find group of friend to bond and get together. I guess my personality is combination of introvert and extrovert. There are times I'm longing for the bond I have with my native country friends, where we do simple things like walk in the park while eating street foods and talk anthing under the sun. How about you guys how do you deal with occassional feeling down, or sadness or boredom?

I sometimes embrace it. I will allow myself to just feel sad. Think sad thoughts. Miss old friends and familiar places. Relive old failures and broken dreams. After all everything is temporary. Good moods, bad moods, highs and lows. Bad or lonely times will pass too. It makes the good times something to appreciate.

Thats very true . I like your positivity and optimism. I guess its best to allow ourselves to experience the moment of temporary loneliness for our own self therapy and it will all pass and moment of happiness will then take place. Better than forcing ourselves to feel happy when are really arent.

Sorry for what you feel this time. You can chat your family via Facebook messenger, no reason to feel that way. You're there because of them to give them comfort and financial needs. Hoping you could spend some weeks vacation in your home country. Are you from Philippines?
