The cost of ugly shoes now

how many of you have owned or own a pair of crocs. The pair of shoes that came out in the early 2000's that are made of a type of rubber that have all them holes in the top. You could buy them real cheap at stores like Walmart or Family Doller and other place like that. I do say they are real comfortable to wear. I nick named mine "my ugly shoes" because when people would see them they were some ugly shoes. Well today my son told me he had went and bought his daugher a pair of Crocs sinse he had bought his son a pair and he promised that he would buy some for her. It kind of surprised me, since I didn't even know people really wore them anymore. Well I looked it up and found out that a lot of teenagers are wearing them now. I asked my son how much does Crocs cast now and I was shocked. He said he paid $50.00 for them. I just thought he lost his mind paying that for them shoes. I would like to have another pair just to wear around the house and in the yard, but I sure not going ot pay that much for them.

I'm sure not buying anymore ether if I have to pay that price. I think he did go to the outlet where the place was named Crocs. I know when I bought mine all them years ago they were around $5.00, that was the reason I bought them, just to have something to slip on when I went outside.

The brand Croc's does cost that much but the ones you see at Walmart, and dollar stores are a knock off brand. I bought a pair last summer to wear out on the beach. I got them at Beal's and they were marked down to $12 so not too bad there. They were not Croc's brand but another brand (I forget which) and they are very comfy!!

That might be what they were sellin at Walmart and the other places way back then to. I'm like you, they might not be that brand but if their just as confy who cares, beats paying $50.00.

When I was young, I used to have shoes that are not expensive, quantity but no quality. Now that I have matured, I only have 3 pairs of shoes, not really expensive but they have been used for like several years now.

I can't ether, but you know how some people are, if they see something they like, they will buy and not think anything about the price.

Popularity, demand, and inflation really do cause a whole lot.

Popularity I think has a lot to do with it, remember when rainbow sandles was real popular, people were paying a lot for them to, back then.

Paying $50.00 for Crocs brand shoes is just crazy. Are they higher then that where you live?
