What do you usually pair with your toasted bread?

I love to pair garlic toasted bread with spaghetti and a local noodle dish here called “pancit palabok”. This afternoon, it’s raining a little and I was quick to prepare an instant cup noodle and paired it with garlic toasted bread. I plan to have a mug of hot chocolate at first but I change my mind when I saw the cup noodles I bought the other day. I am a person who do not skip snack in the afternoon and I think my tummy will be happy when it is filled with something satisfying.

I think I would love the peanut butter in it too more than the cheese but I also love cheese.

@MALUSE I have seen peanut butter at Aldi, but no one buys, it's not part of Swiss (and Italian) cuisine and many are allergic to peanuts, I know that I am.

Peanut butter can be bought in certain shops in Germany, but I don't know anyone who eats it. It isn't part of the German cuisine. Peanuts don't grow here.

I do not buy that kind of bread, I toast my fresh bread and I serve with butter and jam.

Yes, I agree that what we prepare is better than that. And we can make it according to our taste and reference.

When my toaster gave up the ghost, I didn't buy a new one. So I can't answer the question.

Yes, I think it's best to put some jam in it. For the sandwich, I like the chicken sandwich spread or the cheese with pimiento.
