Most of us use myLot as somewhat our personal diary or whatever you call it.
I am so grateful that a friend introduced this site without any hesitations eight years ago. If not him, I will not be chatting or commenting on your posted discussions here. Where is he now? Well, he stopped being a myLotter. Since then, I keep all of you posted by sharing something about me. I tried to share myLot with others but they are not interested. For this reason, I never dared to share it anymore.
How did you find myLot?

@Shavkat Long story short, one of my ex boyfriends found MyLot and I wanted to join. 1: To speak to new people and hopefully make friends from around the world and 2: To get money for various reasons. But due to my ex being an abusive scum bucket piece of crap, he watched my every move and he didn't like the fact that I was talking with people or people talking to me. So he hacked into my account and deleted it (or hacked into it and changed the password, I can't remember as he did that to pretty much any account I had like emails, MSN, Facebook etc - I lost whatever money I had made on that account too 
). Anyway I left for awhile and came back, left again due to him again and once he was gone, I came back and been happy ever since being here.

Unfortunately, he quite recently made contact with me (last time was back in 2020) but last month he attempted to add me on Facebook and wanted to talk. It put me in a bad state. But for the first time ever, I finally stood up to him. I said a lot but I basically said that I won't be scared anymore to reach out for help if he starts bothering me and if I need to get the cops involved, I will. That was very hard to do as he used to threaten me (when we dated) that if I told anyone what he was doing to me (hurting me mentally and physically) he would burn my house down with my family inside. So it's been rough lately (hard to sleep, PTSD, nightmares etc) but I am glad I finally told him what I should I told him a long time ago.

@VivaLaDani13 I'm really sorry to hear this but good for you for standing up to him. Please God he is too much of a coward to even think of carrying out his threat.

It was a very nice lady who was called Darkwing on myLot.
She has passed on now RIP.
I met her on another site which I do not remember the name of.
It was very early on when myLot was just beginning. 2005 or 2006.

Dianne N. introduced me to MyLot, she encouraged me to join about six years ago. Bubblews had fallen and I was hesitant to join another site. Eventually, I did and it has been a good experience.

I found Mylot in a forum so I joined, I am not active all the time but I still come here and post and interact.
