Benefits of war
Was about writing on the ills of war when my attention shifted to why war actually starts. As humans we believe that everything that starts actually has its advantages and it's disadvantages.
As I checked online I stumbled upon a book called benefits of war written by Rear Admiral S.B. Luke, United States Navy; on page 673 he wrote:
-War brings out the natural gifts that nature stifles
- War forms national character, shapes people's destiny and spreads civilization
According to the Oxford English dictionary peace is the absence or the end of war; with this definition it looks as though without war there won't be peace, Same way there can't be meaning to life if there is no death
- War has brought positive impact to the U.S economy by creating more jobs for the American people
- War increases the quality of life for both those that lose and the winners
Do you know that computer came out of development during world war 2?
With all the many benefits I read about war, I still stand with the fact that war is bad, war is evil. There is loss of life, destruction, human suffering from war
The ills of war is greater than it's benefits
Let's avoid war and settle our differences amicably

I totally agree with you. War only means destruction, and it should be avoided at all costs.
