One of my online friend died.

It was a long time since I checked out this site today. I used to be active apart from mylot. I was going through the forum section there and a post caught my attention, I opened it and found one of an active member and a friend at that site passed away. Tears came to my eyes and I was shocked to read that post because a few days back we were discussing something on that site. He never liked me there but that doesn't matter, I am upset and wish I could know more about that person. Sometimes we think about a person when it gets too late.

I'm sorry to hear about your online friend. That has happened to me a few times, even on myLot. Even though we may have only known them in a small way, they are still a part of our lives - it is sad and shocking to learn of their passing.

Hmm...sometimes it's hard to know about a person as I have lots of friends who stop writing on the site and suddenly when they disappear it's difficult to know about them.

@LadyDuck very rarely do people do that and keep us thinking about them. Many of my mylot friends stopped being here without giving a hint about themselves.

I have had that happen too. It is shocking and upsetting. One person was really a very good friend of mine, and I am so sorry it happened.
