War and Peace?

I have had difficulty digesting how utterly cruel and devastating it might be for the Ukranians to be in the midst of war. I feel for the elderly, the sick and the children who will become a casualty of the chaos they are experiencing right at this moment of time. While the world continues with their life, unbothered by flying missile and sound of high caliber weaponry. On the other side of the world, pandemonium reigns. Peace is killed for it is the first casualty of every war. Little children having difficulty sleeping because in the distant or near them explosives thunders. Work life balance is hanging by a thread and people ask when will peace become a normal part of life again? What are your thoughts about it? Please feel free to share.

I was researching a little about it...why is Russia's Putin attacking Ukraine and I found this article: NATO, the world's protectors. https://inews.co.uk/news/world/russia-ukraine-nato-why-not-want-join-europe-war-putin-warning-explained-1449792 I believe, any nation that wants to join Nato, should be able to join, for self preservation. I'm hoping peace comes swiftly for Ukraine & pitiful Ukrainians. God help, Ukraine, amen.
What you should know about the reasons given for Russia's military assault on Ukraine.

@MelanthaKrasos Me too. I've seen an article with video plea from Ukraine's President Zelensky:
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday issued a dire appeal for help as Russia's attacks across the country intensified.

I hope Russia and Ukraine settles the war as soon as possible. I read about the peace talks in Belarus and it is in my prayer that there country returns to normalcy soon.

Indeed, we are lucky it is not happening in our country or it will be a great turmoil.

While I can imagine why Putin attacked Ukraine, I think that the world should have stopped this escalation.

The situation in Ukraine is very, very sad. I do wonder where it will all end.
