Vaseline is one of the purest form of petroleum jelly. I always wonder why my grandmother's face is always smooth and wrinkle free even though she is 85 years old. The secret ladies and gentlemen it that she uses simple Vaseline as her all over body moisturizer. This intrigued me so I decided to do a deeper research on the other uses for Vaseline. Did you know that Vaseline can help to grow your lashes and smooth your eyebrows. Vaseline doesnot clog pores so it is an excellent moisturer and makeup remover. Vaseline repairs and prevents split ends and dry scalp. Vaseline can be used as a lip gloss keeping your lips smooth and shiny. Vaseline helps prevents diaper rash. Vaseline helps to heal and prevents dry cracked heels and elbow. Vaseline also helps cuts and burns to heal faster Have you ever use Vaseline?

To prevent diaper rash for my son when he was a baby yes. But for my face, never. It’s a no no because it clogs up pores, traps oil and dirt. Ni dermatologist would recommend that for the face for people who are acne prone.

@askme123 wrong. If you have oily skin, the more you need it but a gel type of moisturizer. If you don’t use moisturizer, the more your skin will produce oil because your skin thinks you have none. But if you use a non comedogenic moisturizer, the light ones, your skin will produce less oil because it thinks you have enough. And of course exfoliating is a must.

@TheHorse Vaseline does work better than any moisturizing lotion. Rub i on your heels and wear socks to bed and you'll notice a difference. I also do the same for my hands when they get dry.
