A Letter from a Scammer

Today, I received a letter from the Amazon scammer. It seems that he or she is persistent this time. The subject is threatening because my Amazon account was locked. It is a scam because I do not have an account on this shopping app. I shared this for those who have and be aware. Anyone received such a deception letter?

I received the same letter a few days ago. I wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole. Thanks for warning everyone. I should have but didn’t think about it.

I am sure that these scammers will continue doing this. It's my pleasure to give warning to others.

@Shavkat Absolutely. We don’t want others to be taken by these scammers.

I haven't gotten anything like that lately. But scammers are getting desperate, because people are getting smarter. I just hung up on one that wanted to call me back.

Every shopping site online has an email for people to send that type of scam email to. The sites then trace the email back to it's origin and do their best to have the scammer arrested. The email for scam letters for Amazon is stop-spoofing@amazon.com if you receive another email from them. (Just forward the scam email to that email address.)

@RubyHawk You're very welcome. It seems to be "that time of year" again. People are getting their income tax returns and the scammers are wanting their share of it.

I often receive scam letters like this. But I don't want to serve it.

If I am naive and have an Amazon account here, I might be scammed.

@Shavkat Yes, I think it might happen. Therefore, always be careful of the spam emails you receive.

I have an account. But there like any site I go to my link if I want to check. I never use theirs.

They never stop trying, do they? Thankfully, I haven't had one of these.

I am also glad that I have not created an Amazon account.
