Looking for remote work

The past year jobs for me have been difficult to manage or keep. I've struggled to pull off 40 plus hours during the world we know it with covid the world is understaffed and management has zero concerns other then making a buck they don't care about their employees mental emotional state just as long as they are doing the job tasks well and adding mandatory over time like it's something to help us. I'm over being burnt out at these low paying less then 15 dollars an hour jobs it's one job after the next for almost nothing to show for any of it except bills being paid in the past year for me. I need to go back to school and get a degree so I'm not stuck doing the same things over and over again. I need to do something different then what I was doing. That clearly didn't work for me.
I was at McDonalds which was toxic work enviroment filled with emotional abuse and damage to health from the management and the customers. then at a factory as a shipping clerk which wasn't awful at all but uppermanagment there found you replaceable if you got sick and had to do covid tests, factory as a temp worker as a machine operator was the best one and I got burn out worn out waiting to be hired in I gave up just as they were starting to hire me. and now I'm down to a job as a cashier doing only two or three days a week making next to nothing but they will cover the cost of doing some schooling so that's the plan I'm going to take a business associates degree. The emotional tool working has taken is too much it's a lot on a mom and wife I missed out on so much time with my family and friends.
However I need money it has been a month since my last full time pay check. hence why I'm back over on my lot to make connections and get into networking again. I would love to do something part time on top of what I'm already doing that is remote like office help or something that is less people filled
if any of you do have a remote job how did you find it?
examples of what I am looking for are I have a friend that used to do one of those call people about covid contact jobs another did remote work being a person who approves people for insurance so I'm looking for those real 9 am to 5pm jobs even as a remote office assistant. Bonus points if you have links to directly apply to and no I am not interested in selling any mlm stuff so if you have ideas I would love to hear about them. Also I want to hear about other peoples experiences working during covid world. how has it been are you thriving or are you burnt out like I am?

You surely had a very hard time during the Covid pandemic, hard and underpaid work is not at all pleasant.
I think that @RebeccasFarm suggestion is interesting, you can better manage your time and it's not all the time the same boring job.
I am retired now, so Covid did not disrupt my life.

@RebeccasFarm I have known many women that have done this. It's a good way to make some money staying independent.

Look on Craigslist. Or other sites like this? Maybe if everyone shared experiences, we could know the best paying honest ones?

that would be awesome idea to find out what has worked for others. I think craigslist is cringy lol so I am pretty sure I'm staying far away from there as I can.

You could always clean houses if you have access to a car. I made a good living doing that and no toxic work environment.
I worked alone and independently and made good money.
