Our economy hasn’t fully recovered yet from the effects of the pandemic that even up to these days continue to threaten us but new challenges always come up by surprise. In times of war, violence, crises I think that we as ordinary citizens are the most affected.
Last night, I saw long queues of vehicles in all gas stations I passed by. People want to gas up the last time before the considered highest increase of gasoline and other petroleum products here so far will take effect today. So what’s next to follow? I think it’s not impossible that the prices of commodities not just the basic would follow through.
In photo is what I have for my afternoon snack.

Fuel prices here are $14.21/liter. Are your prices cheaper than that?

@ZedSmart We buy gas by the gallon, but it's $3.76/gallon multiplied by 3.78 to show price by liter of fuel.

@DaddyEvil I thought the 3.76 is divided by 4 to get the price per liter.

True the transport sector is the first to feel the effect of the oil crisis we are having due to the war in Ukraine. I think this will trickle down on other commodities and affect our purchasing power and hopefully, wages should follow suit to adjust to these drastic changes.
