Yes, it's two for one day. Time has been flying the past few days. If this keeps up we'll be saying goodbye to March sooner than we expect.
Today has been a good day. I really didn't do much. I started to go to the Y this morning, but turned around and came back home. I couldn't see through the fog. Tomorrow is another day.
I am thankful for the time spent this morning in Bible study and prayer. I'm learning so much. And I get to pray for some of you who mentioned prayer needs.
I'm thankful for the delicious breakfast I had this morning. With the new diet, I decided to buy leeks. I put one of them in my eggs along with a Roma tomato and goat cheese crumbles. It was so good, I'll be making it again.
I'm thankful for the power nap I got this morning. I think it was about twenty minutes if that.
I'm thankful I went down to the community room and rode the bike. I got my five miles in. I didn't set any time records, but it felt good.
I'm thankful for the new book I started today. I'm only on page three. It's going well so far. Being part of the New Horizons series, I needed alien names. I found some interesting ones. I started this one about 600+ years after the flood when the people started building the Tower of Babel. Of course, that's not where everyone is, only where they were. It's going to be fun as I set up the government and get this planet named. It will remain, Alia, as it is in Predators and Blue Fire. I'm not making any drastic changes to the series. Only one change and that's the Native skin color. It was blue, it's now olive green. I've already made that change in the first book I've finished. Though Dominion will now be the first book.
Okay, that's my day. Now onto the health report.

I am thankful for any quiet day in which I can get the work I need done. I love ordinary days and they come as a blessing to me, I had to use up two fresh bratwurst and I fried up the sausage with a bit of bacon and had it over rice,

Glad you had a good day with your new diet and exercising
Looking forward to hearing about your book as time goes on
I'm thankful for warmer temperatures and sunshine. I also got a nice visit from my granddaughter as she's on spring break this week.

Thank you. I'm happy to see the scale go in the right direction.
This one won't be published for a while. I'm working on a ten-book series with New Horizons. I don't want to publish until I have at least three completed novels and the next one started. It will be a while.
I'm glad you had warmer temps for your granddaughter's visit.

@just4him sounds like you'll be busy for quite awhile working that series. It must be fun creating characters, storyline and everything else that goes into writing a book

@Marilynda1225 Yes, it is fun. Yes, it will be a while before I'm ready to publish this series. In the meantime, I'll be publishing what I have ready.

187.8 is down another pound, Congratulations! You have been getting all kinds of exercise, good job, Valerie:) I'm so thankful for the work God is performing in my heart(Jay's also) and life. We are communicating on a new level, without getting defensive or verbal. The peace is returning, little by little.

@just4him When a couple uses scriptures to get their mate in order, this is destructive behavior. First it's vital to get the beam out of our own eye. Only then, can we see clearly to help get the stick out of someone else's eye.

@MommyOfEli2013 I love writing. I don't see it as work, though I call it work.

@just4him It does sound like a lot of work to do that, but if it is what you enjoy...then that is great.

Yes, I am very grateful today because I am still given the opportunity to breathe and be healthy when I wake up from sleep. Even though I actually have hopes that I haven't been able to realize, but I will keep trying no matter what. I am still grateful because I can still gather with the people I love, namely my father. He really motivated me to stay up until now and do positive things. For all of you, stay strong, healthy and let's keep trying to do our best :)
