since I was last here on Mylot. How have you been? I am fine now and back on track again. I was not feeling well for a week and I stayed for the whole 2 days in bed due to colds. It seemed that the cold windy Sunday afternoon when I went walking with my friends at the lake made me sick. It was the shortest cold that I had experienced but it took me a while to find my mojo. I just recovered when I got a writing gig again and I was busy doing a research, cooking and baking. So, back to normal. I baked 20 muffins last Saturday for the birthday girl of my friend. The muffins were for the kids in the kindergarten. How is our Mylot world? I hope you are all well. I have a lot to catch up. Thanks for reading.

The muffins look delicious! I’m sick too. My son had it for about a week and my husband was sick one day and my stepson only had a sore throat for a day. I’m getting hit the hardest with it but I have asthma and a bad immune system.

They were delicious @shaggin. Thank you. Sorry That you are sick. I hope you can recover soon. I can relate to that asthma. I don’t like it when I get an asthma attack again ands I am very careful with my health.

Thank you for your concern @LadyDuck. I stayed in bed for 2 days due to coughs and colds. I ate chicken soup for 2 days made by hubby. He bought me also „ Taxofit Zink15 +Histidin“ and teas with ginger and vitamin C. They helped a lot. After 2 days in bed I stood up because I was hungry of Filipino food. I thought I would die in hunger than being sick

@thelme55 I was away for about a year after my son passed away then after Leo passed away last September I came back. Mylot friends have been a huge help for me.

It seems many of us are having colds and sinus issues. It does damage our motivation when that happens. I need to do some baking and may do that today.

Good that you are feeling well now. The muffins look good. The kids might have enjoyed the muffins very much!

I wish to spend time here daily, but I couldn't find much time to do so, I just come here for a while whenever possible.

I got a cough because I was dumb and worked in my yard on a cold windy day, I really should have know better. I am overcoming it but you know how long it takes to get over coughs. Otherwise I am in fairly good health and Roscoe is learning to behave better so I am happy about that.
