Neighbor's Dog Oreo Has Passed

Such a sad day. My sweet neighbor's dog, Oreo, has passed. This is the neighbor that lost his wife a few years ago to cancer. He has had this sweet dog for eight years.
Oreo was like his shadow. He cooked every meal for her. When we went on trips, Oreo always went along.
I don't know any details yet. He is at his daughter's home for now. I will respect his privacy. I just know Oreo passed unexpectedly. Thoughts are with him as he gets through another loss.

It is always so hard to loose such a pet that is like your constant companion. It was the same with my Coco. Everything I did I took her in to consideration and also took her every where with me, same as like I did with all my human babies.

It is sad his last connection to his wife. See stuff like that cannot be replaced. People say a lot of things but when all you knew was good and its lost now. So not good. You just cannot go get another wife like that and just cannot go get another dog that was connected to your wife like that. Move on we probably need to but thats earth shattering.

The loss of a pet that was like a family member is always so sad. I feel so sorry for the neighbor, especially after the loss of his wife.
