I just read inthe news that some of the people near Putin are breaking away from him. Some of them have not being seen lately and the photos on TV are not new.
Sergei Shoigu, the Defence Minister and close to Putin has not been shown lately. His mother is Ukranian and his youngest daughter (#1 years old) has been seen clothed in the Ukranian colors.
Other people near Putin have not been seen lately either.
Cracks? I hope so. Your opinion?

I am sure most in his inner circle are not happy with him. The sanctions are impeding their billionaire lifestyles.

I wish that a majority of the Russian people disagree with Putin's policies and start having demonstrations.

This frightens me, because those controlling leaders do have people killed, if they ever dare to disagree. These people might be alive and well, but possibly they are no longer alive

@marguicha They simply eliminate those who disagree, in any way.

@marguicha 30 countries under Nato have decided to attack Russia together. Let's see what happens.

Without paying attention to these things, I just hope that some countries that like war will not provoke war.
War is not good for anyone, but some people just like to start and provoke war, which is really annoying.

@marguicha Tonight I heard that it seems Putin is going to withdraw troops. If so, then it is a good sign and I hope it means the war will be over real soon.

I just read that the Ukranians hace now more tanks than before because they have captured several Russian ones. I don´t know if it is true.

@marguicha We can never know what is true and what is not, the first victim of any war is the truth.

Maybe they are. It is hard to tell since so much of the media in Russia is still controlled by the government. They are going to want to keep a lid on most things that might not make Putin look good. Either way, it can only be a good thing if many people in the power structure may not necessarily be standing with Putin on this.

Many people within Russia are opposed to war.
But Putin is still adamant and continues the war.
The sanctions are hitting Russia quite a lot but still the public suffering is not making them stop the war.
Keeping my fingers crossed about what would happen next.

Putin sure seems to be unhinged too. I say an article, Putin accused Ukraine to be Natzi! Ridiculous! I can't understand about Putin's view on NATO and not letting countries join NATO! If Ukraine, had joined NATO, Ukraine would be protected.
