Very short shopping trip.

I've just been on a very short shopping trip.
There wasn't really much to get.
I went on the higher path around Stowe Pool again. I saw a few little dogs on the way round. I sat on the last but one bench (because the last one was occupied) and put on my mask.
I didn't bother going to the toilet around town at all today.
I had four letters to post so I did that first in the post box outside Superdrug. Then I walked through the market to get to the Oxfam shop instead of going around. I left a donation of some items at the Oxfam shop. It was mainly belts and gloves.
Then I went to the Heart Foundation charity shop and bought 2 lovely dresses in a size 12. I might not be able to get in them yet but I'm going to make sure I lose some weight so that I can.
Then I went to the Oxfam bookshop and bought 2 books about Wales and 5 (yes 5!) books by Isaac Asimov!
Then I went to Rileys and got some strawberries, half a cucumber and some tomatoes for my Mum, 2 golden delicious apples for my step-dad and some radishes for myself. (Yes, I remembered to get some radishes!)
Then I went home. I whipped my mask off as soon as I was by Minster Pool, and then walked back round Stowe Pool on the higher path again.
I was back home at twenty to twelve and I was in time to watch the end of Homes Under the Hammer!

@liviurus I don't watch the News but it's been on nearly every programme on TV and my Mum and step-dad are always taking about it. How do you prepare for a worldwide pandemic if you don't watch TV?
1) Stay in if at all possible
2) Wear a facemask in crowded places (if you don't you could be fined)
3) Sanitize your hands
4) Wash hands often for 2 minutes
5) Keep 2 metres away from other people at all times.
6) No more than 6 people together outside the house. (Any more and you will be fined).
7) Definitely no parties. (Or you will be fined).
Have you been living under a rock? Have you no friends or relatives that would tell you about this?

@JudyEv You're joking, right? I haven't read half of them! Some of the ones on the bookcase I've read, but most of them I haven't! I'm getting through them slowly, and the ones I don't want to keep, when I've read them, I take them to the Tesco book swap and swap them for another one.

Oh, you don't know the half of it! I have a bookcase that is crammed full of books. Not only are they lined up on the shelf as normal, but there are piles of them in front of those aswell. Then I have some books in a shelf at the top of one of my wardrobes (the place where you usually put folded T-shirts or whatever). Added to that I have a large red plastic container on the floor filled with books, and then more stacked on top. Then next to that I have a hessian bag full of books with books piled on top of that aswell. And when I say piled I mean piled high! Sometimes I get worried it will fall over!

@sharonelton it's so nice to do shopping. Before pandemic, I shopped in malls every week In this pandemic, no more, only perhaps thrice a year due to series of total lockdowns.

It wasn't as much as I usually do. It should be a bigger and longer shopping trip this Friday.

@cacay1 I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you can get out to do shopping again soon.
We could go shopping during the lockdown for essential items as long as we wore a face mask and did the social distance thing.
