A morning for getting things done. How is your Sunday going?

I decided to be productive this morning. I put my laundry in, went to Target, bought a vacuum cleaner and some Spring shorts, and worked on a corner of the LBL L-100 speakers I'm restoring.
So now I'm in vacuuming ecstasy. You know it's one of my favorite things. In my first five minutes of vacuuming, I had sucked up an entire cat. Not Kitty, but you know what I mean. She doesn't like the vacuum and went up on the roof.
I'll attach a picture of a difficult speaker bottom I'm working on today. It's right after I did a "hot water treatment," which expands the wood and makes eliminating scratches easier. One can see what the wood will look like when oiled as well.
How is your Sunday shaping up?

If it was Sunday and I know it was it went by much too fast and now another Monday is looming and time to figure out a whole new week,

I just found out that Jeff Fortenberry was convicted on three counts of lying to the FBI and now could get 15 years in prison, so my Sunday is shaping up acceptably.
Republican congressman Jeff Fortenberry is found guilty of lying to FBI about illegal foreign donation
Nebraska representative convicted on one count of concealment of conduit contributions and two counts of lying to the FBI

@TheHorse They can get him. The question is, "Will they get him?"

The speakers will turn out beautifully, I'm sure! Nothing much going on here. Watched the Oscars show and Red Carpet.

@LindaOHio In my experience, Chris Rock is usually on target. But he should have let this one go. What Smith did is sad, though.

@TheHorse It was not staged. Chris Rock made a joke about Will Smith's wife's bald head (she has a medical condition and shaved her head). Smith stormed up to the stage and slapped Rock. Smith should have handled this after the ceremony was over and used his words, not his hand. He's lucky Rock didn't file assault charges.
