Hard to believe Bitcoin is so expensive now

I remember in the past when Bitcoin was up to USD10,000, I already found it very crazy. But today its price is already over USD47,600 and this is quite unbelievable. This is still very risk to invest to it in my opinion. I am not sure, but it seems that here our banks won't deal with Bitcoins. I even wonder whether it is legal here.

You are right, it is a very risky investment. Imagine if all countries should decide to make it illegal, it would drop to zero and people lose everything they invested.

Besides today there are new cryptocurrencies and it is also a kind of risk because of the competions.

@youless Exactly and I know that several countries are planning to issue their crypto currency and regulate the market.

I am not very clear about Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency. I have kept myself away from them so far and I would not get into them unless they make sense to me. Their future and status is still not clear in my country.

I also don't know this kind of currency well. If it is stored in a hard disk, why if the hard disk doesn't work? I can't imagine it.

@cacay1 Yes, it's legal status is still in doldrums in my country. Though the government has come up with taxation on crypto gains, it's clear that they have not legalised it.

It is OK for the riches to invest to it. After all, they have enough money and shall think a good way to spend the money

It's kinda giving mixed messages for me so Bitcoin still feels like an unknown mystery for now.

Cryptocurrency is quite a hot topic these days and yes it has grown because of the heavy demands in the Ukraine where due to the war the demand of cryptocurrency is much more desirable for trade nowadays
