110 dollars out from pocket

The lady attendant who assisted me in choosing the frame of my eye glasses was very polite and attentive. After a couple of minutes of testing my choices, I selected one which I think best suited for my facial feature and comfort. The frame itself is valued at around 34 dollars and I thought that it’s fair enough thinking that I will get less with the glasses. After the check-up, the doctor brought me to her cubicle and did the testing and fitting of the glasses suitable for my grade. She told me I have astigmatism. She let me choose among bifocals, progressive and the one that I can’t remember the term but I could wear all day and change colors under sunlight and the expensive of the three. I think I don’t like the bifocal so I chose the progressive and its price is double the price of the frame. I was thinking of paying less but I tend to pay more that is out of my budgeting requirements. No choice because it’s for good. In about two weeks, I’ll get to wear my graded eye glasses.

My eyeglasses are only for reading and computer work (so it has that bluish tint) and those are the only times I wear it.
I refused both progressive and bifocals.

@ZedSmart Oh, I resisted wearing glasses for many, many years. I was supposed to start 1st yr high school.
But it's true, age will eventually catch up with you, so when I couldn't ignore the changes, I finally did. I'm on my 3rd pair now, but to be fair, the eye doctor said my grade is quite low for my age.

@merrybelle2021 That's good that it's still manageable.
