Hello my lotties,
Here we meet again on another fresh page of discussion. Hoping you all are feeling healthy, well and good.
For today's topic, I would like to discuss the natural elements of nature; mainly being earth, water, air and fire. All of these elements make up for something in our daily lives.
Like for instance, earth provides some kind of stability, whereas water is a source of life and we can't be without it. Air keeps our space regulated while fire ignites the spark in ourselves to keep on burning.
These are just basic descriptions but if you want to read more in depth, go do your own research and form your individual perspectives.
Now, question time. Which of these four elements can you relate to the most and why? Just go with one answer, and keep it fun, creative and interesting, if you will.
As usual folks, enjoy your day or the remaining of it and I'll see you around. Cheers.

Well, in Waldorf education, we emphasize a lot on temperaments. And temperaments come from the constituent elements. I know that I am a sanguine means more of air.

@MALUSE My younger daughter has gone to Waldorf school for last 7 years. My elder one went to a regular curriculum. I am not in favour of any education system or against any. It's a matter of conviction. I have been very influenced by the Anthroposophy philosophy of Steiner and have tried to implement it a lot in my life and my way of parenting. I can say for myself that it's been a spiritual path of parenting and I am convinced with it. My daughters are confident and smart and doing as good as or even better in many ways when I do a comparative study. For an outsider it might look like only dance and music, but it's not only limited to that. Many people loose interest because they don't have conviction for the same. And that's okay. Not all need to be convinced by some philosophy.
India has some really good Waldorf schools. Though it's not that common here.

@MALUSE No, no. I do not follow the Waldorf philosophy. This subject just happens to fascinate me, that's all. I agree with you that a state school system could be better in so many ways.
I didn't know that you are a school teacher. That explains your broad knowledge on many things.

@ihasaquestion - I love water, we built a pond in the garden and we have a small brook running along our property, it is pleasant.

I never paid much attention to that stuff so the only elements I can relate to are the heating elements in the dryer and in the oven as I have had to replace both of them.

Since I'm ignorant concerning the elements you speak of, trying to be funny was really my only option. Glad it worked

Same..my answer is also like yours. Air (good space) filters the bad vibes out. It's all good.

Well, the body is 80% water. And it's said the first man was MADE of the earth when God 'breathed' into it. So I guess we can eliminate Fire (except that God was a PILLAR of Fire for the Exodus Hebrews).
I guess 'the element I feel-like' changes with my mood ... hmmm, Plasma. That's my element.

Hello Uncle Jay, I like your take on this; it's certainly very interesting. I guess if you choose plasma, then you can relate to air (environment) the most.

Many of our friends here choose the water element too. Yes, water is the main source of life. Good answer there, Carol.
