Its Raining, its pouring, the old man is snoring

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's a rainy morning here but it's supposed to clear this afternoon and then more rain tonight and all day tomorrow.
I'm sitting here having my coffee, watching the rain and listening to our dog Gizmo snore. He snores really loud and reminds me of my Uncle George who was the loudest snorer of anyone I've ever known. We used to say that when Uncle George snored he would rattle the windows in the house.
Mush (our other little dog) went to work with my daughter. Since my daughter works from home Mush doesn't have to go far to go and she knows my daughter has some treats in her desk so she barges in throughout the day .
I feel lazy today and I'm hoping my coffee kicks in because there's a few things I want to get done.
Dinner tonight is pasta with salad on the side. At least once a week I'm trying to go meatless.
That's what's going on here. What's happening in your neck of the woods?

Just had the assessor come, that didn't take too long. Hopefully, it will all go in my favor.

I don't know how my Aunt tolerated his snoring. I'm sure there were times when she wanted to put the pillow over his face 
You made me laugh saying your father snores as loud as his chihuahua. Guess dogs are notorious for snoring too these days.

Nice & cozy rainy day. Sunny here, went shopping. Got it all done & 2 rolls of quarters for my laundry days too. Was famished, so grabbed a french fries & unsweetened iced tea before the bus came. Dinner, hamburger delux with fries. Now relaxing watching Perry Mason. Good day for me.

Is there a particular reason for going meatless? I'm just curious. Meat is getting more and more expensive here. And they say it's a good thing to go without meat occasionally.

I have a couple of snorers in my family circle who can give a good competition to your uncle and your dog. Luckily not the ones who share my house
It's going to be 11 PM here and I am feeling so exhausted. A long day and exhaustive one. Even the two hours of afternoon sleep didn't help. I am tired but not sleepy. I plan to sleep late tomorrow morning till my body wants. Luckily no morning rush.
