Several days ago I posted about rain in the midst of the summer season. This time it is not just raining but there are two typhoons that have just entered our territory one has made a landfall already and has created lots of flooding in the countryside. The other one seems to be going north and not going on a landfall. I just hope that those rains we just had helped our dams accumulate enough water to last the rest of summer. This is really both a blessing in disguise but at the same time, it created havoc in coastal areas that have flooded. The good thing was that it seemed to not passed through my place so the weather is just fine and a bit cloudy with no rains just gray clouds ahead.

Thanks we’re safe in our place just concerned with those outside the city where I heard they had flooding and landslides those that were near mountains. This is not supposed to happen at this time of the year. I guess climate change is really happening right now.

It is indeed a surprise. I did not expect to hear news about the typhoons on summer season.

Very rare indeed that such things happen in summer. I always see summer as very hot and sunny all the time. Seldom do I see it rain and cause floods or landslides at this time of the year. But this all happened this summer which makes this a very unique summer season we have.

I don't mind rain, but not to the point were going to have leaks in the gutters.

If you just stay at home most of the time, rain won't matter to you. But if you commute to work every day, rains mean a lot of inconvenience traveling from one point to another. Dealing with the traffic and the discomfort that you will get wet while traveling.

The rainy season has already started in the Philippines though. I remember back in the country it could really get pretty muddy because there was no paved farm-to-market road yet. Thank God, our place has already been developed in so many ways including the finished farm-to-market road.
