Coffee alternatives

I like a good cup of coffee, but I can only drink so many. I generally just have two a day, or rarely, three, and after that I just don’t want any more.
Unfortunately I can’t stand tea, I don’t really like herbal tea, and hot chocolate is too rich. There are times when I would like some sort of hot drink, but nothing seems to fit. I really wish I did like tea but although I like the scent of the dry leaves I just find the smell of hot tea absolutely revolting.
So when we had a day out recently on a chilly day I was interested to see a few novel alternatives at one coffee shop we visited looking for refreshment. One of the drinks on offer was a beetroot latté. I wasn’t sure, but decided to risk it - and it turned out to be really nice. Also a great colour!
Has anyone else discovered any interesting new drinks or foods recently?

When I start wanting something hot to drink, I go ahead and make the hot chocolate. Yum! (I'm not supposed to have the caffeine from coffee or tea. And don't like coffee anymore, anyway. We only keep herbal tea in the house now and it's usually not a flavor I like. *shrug*)
I had an upset stomach a few days ago so sipped a glass of lime Jello. The gelatin coats the lining of the stomach and the heat from it helps control stomach upset.

@Fleura Jell-O is the brand name for the powder you use to make Jello. And yes, you can leave it to set up but if you have a tummy ache, you can sip it while it's still hot to help you feel better.
Jelly here is the stuff you spread on bread to make a sandwich.

@DaddyEvil But surely Jello is just the brand name for prepared fruit-flavoured jelly?
Here we can buy it in blocks which you then dissolve in boiling water and leave to set.
So easy to make, just separate into cubes, add boiling water then stir. Then add cold water and stir. Pour into mould or bowl and refrigerate to set.

You can't stand tea!?!
I can't stand coffee. It gives me the runs. I drank a coffee alternative called Postum for a while. I think it was made from roasted barley. I don't know if it's still available as I haven't bothered to look for it. Another coffee alternative is roasted dandelion root, but I've never tried it. I'm happy drinking tea, although there are some awful ones out there. My favorite is Ty-Phoo.

I avoid to drink latte (that is milk in Italian), it is too rich, I also do not like tea, I like my coffee without sugar and without milk. I think it's the only hot drink that I have, a hot chocolate time by time, but it's milk, so it's too rich.

Sad, how people commonly comment on the 'topic-line' without acknowledging "the question the post asks"

I don´t like the normal tea but I do like the smell and the taste of Lapsang Souchong and Earl Grey. Besides that, when I want a different sort of drink for any reason, I make an infusion with orange or lemon peel.

The main 'new food' on my mind is ... well, I was gonna say "dark chocolate"; but a more recent one is "Detroit-style pizza"---not much different from 'regular pizza,' except it's structure is more like "a thin casserole" (the cheese going right up to the edge of the pizza, rather than having 'a big stick of dough' at the edge) ... and it's got 'the trails of tomato-sauce along the center.'
And--while I'm mentioning it--dark chocolate---it's basically 'regular chocolate with a higher cocoa-percentage and without all the milk & sugar-stuff that turns chocolate into 'candy'

@Fleura The main thing I've heard about it is "antiangiogenesis" (it makes it so your blood-cells don't feed any cancers that find their way into your body).
