Today while I was walking around outside. The green comes up every year. But in 12 years of living here it only bloomed the first couple of years. Was very happy to see it this afternoon. I had disturbed the dirt in that area last summer. That possibly helped. They sometimes like that. it also gave me some ideas. Of course my ideas got added to my todo list. I am going to move some of the day lilies and naked lady lilies to each end of the dog pen. Then between the 2 trees I will plant tulips and hyacinths. That part I cant do until fall unless I find some already up. Those bloom early enough the trees wont be shading them as they will not have leafed out yet. I havent sewed any at least yet today. Still might before I go to bed. But I did get a curry comb and brush George horse real well. Then I finally got my shopping cart out of hubbies truck. It is out back now. I will hopefully start getting it set up to plant in next week. I need to make a frame to set in the center. I dont want to fill that whole thing with dirt. That would be way to heavy to move. I also started introducing Ghost cat to the outside today. I got one of the dog houses moved to the back fenced in area. I showed that to her. It isnt where I plan to leave it right now. But it is inside the fence at least. I brought Ghost back in for the night. Unless it is raining hard I will put her back outside tomorrow. She dont always like to use the litter box. So by summer she will be outside full time. Then I took a nap. While I was dozing hubby started a fire outside. When I woke up I went and joined him. It was still very nice out this evening. Great way to end the day.
