Are you the cynosure of all eyes?

I have seen a few are the cynosure of all eyes within a group. I have tried to analyze the reason.
My observation for that is:
A radiant personality invites attention.
A VIP among a group
Attention seekers
Possessing a talent that attracts.
All may be equal but a few are more than equal!
I have rarely been a cynosure of all eyes and tend to deflect attention so that others too get into the act of camaraderie. The more the merrier is my credo.
How about you?

I would rather be the opposite of that, akin to how Jesus Christ slipped through the crowds, unnoticed by them, because he wanted to be not captured then, as yet, and be unseen, by all, as he got away from his would-be killers, that time around.
I would like to be invisible in a crowd like that too.

@Shiva49 I usually wait like that too, but if I notice that the conversation is not to my liking, I will also then stay out of it altogether, in a group.
One-on-one is different though, and I will usually rejoinder in, unless it is a one-way tirade of preaching like which my father used to use on me. I just let it all wash over the top of me then.

@innertalks Yes, it should not be one-sided with one doing all the talking (blabbering) and the other at the receiving end!
Some chatterboxes go on and on on the phone and others end up with a sore arm! And they hold the phone away from their ear to catch their breath!
And I recall a cartoon with one elderly woman very distressed as she was abused on the phone for hours and she was too polite to hang up the phone!

I normally chip in when the embers of the fire in a party start to die down and enliven it. I don't butt in when a few try to corner the attention.
I recall one responding to why he was rather quiet when his wife was so boisterous and bubbly. He said he was ever waiting for an opportunity to get his word in but that does not happen often and he is happy with that!
I too do not like to add to the din, hustle and bustle, with the pandemonium that ensues inevitably.

Having organised countless parties for friends, family, orphanages and old age homes I suppose I get noticed.
