Sophia Furtado was given a Life Saving Award by the Fairhaven Police Department on April 20 for her actions to save the life of a customer who fell down and hit her head while waiting for her food order from DoorDash in February.
Caryn Sullivan who was the customer who lost consciousness was bleeding from the top of her head outside of her home while waiting for her food order in her driveway.
When Sophia arrived at the scene of the incident, she called 911 to report to the authorities to send help to deal with the injuries that Caryn had suffered.
Sophia who has experience as an emergency medical technician in her past did what she could to prevent her from death from her injuries until the ambulance arrived to take Caryn to the hospital where she made a complete recovery.
Caryn called Sophia her guardian angel after she did what she could to save her from dying on that evening in February.
