Adverts everywhere!

I understand that websites need adverts to survive. When you drive traffic through a website, this must be paid for. Often, you will advertise elsewhere to bring traffic to your website, and therefore need to fund this by advertising other businesses on your own site to pay for it. these is a fine balance between generating enough income from advertisements, and having far too much clutter on the website. I think this boundary is often crossed, and it can deter your potential clients from using your website in the future. This is not ideal, and you do not want to deter customers from using your website and purchasing your products and services. Hopefully your website has this correct balance, as long as you have a business website!

I totally agree about the balance. Also about the positioning about the adverts. Sometimes they pop up from nowhere in the middle of something interesting to read and kill the joy. Keep them to the sides.

@Danielclark691 That's the worst part. So many times I have been taken to a wrong page that I didn't want to

Too much can be annoying and it takes up so much of my time trying to avoid them.

I thought you was going to comment about here. It seems to have an awful lot of more adverts then ever before. and you are right, a few others I avoid because of that. Some are just too much.

I wrote the article for a reason. I haven't stated it in the article though, as it is a widespread problem. I understand your thinking, though.
