bit of a weird encounter

May 8, 2022 9:47am CST
I found a mobile phone on the ground in the carpark, treid switching it on but couldnt .I noticed a man asleepin the car near where i found the phone so I tried to wake him, the window was open so after afew excuse mes I tapped him on the shoulder, no response, I ended up shaking him quite vigorously, he opened one eye twice ...at this point I gave up and took it to reception. I mentioned the man and that he might be dead .....had no idea what to do really but turns out he was just asleeep as he wasnt there when I had finished playing tennis Maybe I should have just kept the phone lol

Our daughter-in-law lost her phone while walking but some kind person managed to return it to her. Some people can be hard to wake up.

@58lordstreet Oh wow! I'm sorry that happened to you in our country. The outback areas seem to be becoming more and more lawless lately.

@JudyEv it was Aboriginal teenagers who were allowed in to the attached bar and pool ,

I wouldn't have touched the man. He might have gotten angry. You did the right thing by turning it in.
