Do you like sandwiches for lunch? This is from Erik’s Deli Cafe, a sandwich chain popular in the west. Food is pretty good. The sandwich is a vegetarian option, with avocado, sprouts, pickles, tomato and more. It is quite a good sandwich and very fresh tasting. The pasta salad is the Italian style which is very good. The brownie was good ad well.well. What kinds of sandwiches and salads do you like? There is also a cookie here. They have a lot of good things in the grab and go. I like the country rustic decor here as well. Makes for a relaxing meal and pretty healthy as well. Every sandwich is supposed to come with a pickle and orange wedge.

I haven't gotten a deli sandwich in several years now, not since the beginning of the pandemic.
I do like a good sandwich for lunch but mine usually include turkey or ham.

@DaddyEvil Oh yes, banh mi is a Vietnamese sandwich. It is very popular in California and wherever Vietnamese food is popular.. I like ones with barbecue a lot. Typically they have picked radish and carrots and jalapeño on them.

@Aquitaine24 I had to look that up. It looks like a sub or a hoagie. Those are always good!

@Aquitaine24 I agree with you. It would miss the opportunity to have staple food.

So it is like having bread instead of rice.

Well, this pasta salad is more Italian than some because it is made with olive oil rather than mayonnaise and it has pesto spices. Maybe call it Italian fusion.

@Aquitaine24 The fact is that in Italy we do not make a "pasta salad", but I agree that olive oil is more Italian than mayonnaise, that is typically French.

I do like sandwiches for lunch, but I have not taken one to work for quite a while since I always have leftovers and just use that. Even if I have a sandwich, it is something I will make from home rather than eat out. Unless I am treating myself of course. Every once in a blue moon.

I like making them at home as well. I like liverwurst and it is good for you. Lots of vitamin A and iron.

In reality, if you visit Vietnam, the price of each of these sandwiches is startlingly low, ranging from about 1-1.5 $ for a range of ingredients such as sausages, roasted pig, pate, spiced minced meat, eggs, sardines, ripped chicken, onion fat, cold meat, butter, and so on. A excellent loaf of bread, on the other hand, demands more than just meat. To recreate the legendary taste of finely sliced cucumber, sour food, coriander, onions, scallions, aromatic basil... and, most importantly, the "wonderful" sauce.
Many locations do not manufacture sauce and instead use soy sauce, pepper salt, fish sauce, soup powder, etc. to substitute it, along with a little mayonnaise or chili sauce, which is all that is needed to make a loaf of bread "sobbing" the hearts of many people. At the same time, another benefit of processing time will be that it will be very quick, around 5 minutes, without having to wait long.

I have heard prices there are low compared with the U.S. there is much of the same variety of sandwiches here. Pate is popular, and so is minced meat.
