I want to buy a digital camera for my husband (well me too) for Christmas. I really know nothing about digital photography. Any recommendations what should I look for in megapixels. I will be printing out the pictures so I want the quality to be good.

Hi, I have a Canon E510, it's okay, but it eats batteries like crazy. i guess all digital cameras do. You want to look at the mega pixels, the higher the better. the picures will be clearer and better quality if the mega pixels are higher. with the canon E510 you can change to black and white, it has a lot of features I haven't even tried yet. I like it.

I have a Kodak EasyShare Z760 with 6.1 megapixels. I really like this camera and if I print a 8x10 it looks great. It also has different settings like nightime, beach, snow, portait, etc. I think this is a great camera. I was told the higher the megapixels the better the picture.

Hi, Buy the Casio 7.2 Mega Pixel Z750. It is one of the beat cameras in the world. Believe me you will never be dissapointed. It is so clear and even on lower resolutions it is very clear. I give it 5 stars
