I was surprised to find a pair of brown colour birds on my balcony. I haven't seen such a beautiful bird in my life. I took a photo and searched on the internet using Google lens and wow Google identified them as Red wiskered bulbul. Not so common in India but they are really beautiful birds. Slightly bigger than a sparrow but dark brown in colour having a horn like feather on its head and red wiskers below the eyes.

Red wiskered bulbul chicks
@Kandae11 yes. I have never seen such beautiful eggs earlier. The mother bulbul lays around 2 or 3 eggs . Both the birds tak turns to warm the eggs 24 / 7. Very dedicated and responsible birds towards their offsprings. Also as you can see they keep their nests neat and clean. This is the actual photo of the chicks after they hatched.

@luisga814 Yes very beautiful and always seen in pairs. They make their nest so beautifully that it looks like it's made by an artisan. The outside of the nest is made of twigs while the inside is made of dry grass.

@jayanth_77 Imagine, they're using only their mouth in creating their nest.

@rebelann usually these Red wiskered bulbul are found around the foothills of mountains where there are plenty of small fruit trees. They eat insects too. They make loud chirping sound. Moth the male and female are identical except that the female looks a little slimmer. This is an actual photo from my balcony. Their chicks grow very fast.

@jayanth_77 I haven't heard of it here but perhaps it is only in the eastern states.
