A bicycle built for one

I spotted this creation in front of a café that caters specifically for bike-riders. Inside, there are a lot of bits and pieces that would interest such folk. I cropped the photo heavily so you can get a better look at it. It’s made of metal. His cup of coffee has ‘steam’ rising from it, which I thought was a neat touch.
We’re off to visit Vince’s brother shortly and will stay the night. None of us has been going out much so we should be safe from covid. His daughter, her husband and four children have all had it. It must be pretty awful as two of the children are borderline autistic and the house is quite small.
We are going to take a container full of chocolate slice (a type of cookie) and leave on their front doorstep. We’ll ring the bell but leave without interacting. It’s not good taking a casserole as several have really tricky dietary issues but it seems they can all eat the slice.

I hope they're all doing well soon.
And here I thought you and Vince were out riding a bike! (Vince doing all the pedaling and you riding along in a type of sidecar. )
I hope you all enjoy the visit.

@DaddyEvil I was never very good at all on a bike. I certainly wouldn't want to get on one now.

It’s so sad that, 2 1/2 years later, we’re still dealing with this. Nice of you to take them a dessert.
I love that penny-farthing sculpture!! The detail, too (the steam, the man’s pipe)! I first saw them as the symbol for “The Village” in the TV show The Prisoner, so I always associate one with that show…even though I’ve watched videos of people actually mounting and riding one!

So you're leaving the slice on the doorstep of Vince's brothers kids but visiting just with the brother? Have fun.
