Cotton The Owl Says Good Day

Visited the local state park early this morning. There was a peach truck and other fresh fruits and vegetables.
Tried to get there before the crowd showed up. Managed to get plenty of fruits. And fresh veggies to enjoy. Tomatoes will come later in July.
Also visited Cotton, the rescued owl. She is being taken care of by the park rangers. I always visit when I can. And I touch her soft feathers through the cage. Such a beautiful owl.
Sunshine day and nice to be back home now. Hope you enjoy yours.

She is indeed a beautiful owl. I am happy to know that she lets you touch her feathers through the cage. I always have an impression that owls are not the warm and friendly kinds. And they would attack if we try to pet them.

@CarolDM Good to know. I have seen owls from a distance only be it in nature or in the zoo. Never experienced going close to them or touching them. They look like mighty birds just like eagles and vultures. I don't feel comfortable trying to get close to them

Stuff from the farm is so much better than what they sell in stores. I wish I had a farm stand near me.

Cotton lets petting, wow, I've never touched an owl! Nice. Glad you got some fresh veggies and fruit! I feel lazy today, staying in.
