I have to learn to trust the recipes

I made pizza again tonight using the outer aisle pizza crusts made with cauliflower. The air fryer directions were to Penske in the air fryer for six minutes and then once the round were in place to air fry it for another six to eight minutes. I added in an extra minute both times to ensure they got cooked enough, but they also got burnt around the edges.
This time I used marinara sauce in place of pizza sauce, low fat mozzarella cheese, low fat turkey pepperoni, onion and diced colored peppers.
That was several hours ago. I just treated myself to a salad also, yum.

It was good and my husband said we can make it twice a week if we want. Since we used marinara sauce we have a lot left. My other option is to freeze some and I may also do that.

@RubyHawk well in this instance what I would freeze is just the sauce so the pizza would still need to be baked.

@MarshaMusselman Nice to have food frozen that you don’t have to cook.

It was simple, seemed small but hit the spot.

It was healthy. We are following a lean and green diet/food plan. My husband already lost 26 pounds.

I have a stand alone air fryer that's stored right now but I think I like the oven one better. I found that the stand alone took a while to cook things enough too. Mine also had a toaster oven and something else
Maybe there were to many options.

It was a small pizza but rather filling too.

@MarshaMusselman Oh, now I understand, you need to follow the instructions for the air fryer. I had to use my oven a few times, as the temperature they state is not always the correct temperature for the food as you like it more.

I've switched recipes up before but it's with the air fryer I need to trust the cooking times better. Once I've cooked this way more I'll probably know which foods might need more time than others.

Yes both were good although I ate the salad two hours later like a mini meal.

We're following a diet right now and can have certain low fat items like cheese.
