My God is.... / myLot

There is a children's song in which the chorus goes, "My God is so big and so strong and so mighty, there's nothing my God can not do..." I am so thankful to serve a strong and mighty God. For one thing, I am glad He is strong enough to seal my salvation. If mankind could lose their salvation, he/she would. We are sinful creatures and we are going to sin. But, praise the Lord, God gave us salvation. And once we are saved, He keeps us saved because we can not do it ourselves. If I never have anything else to be thankful for, the fact that God forgave me and saved me is more than I deserve.

Yes, you are right, God is good and omnipotent. There are many small things to big things that happen in our lives that we need to be grateful for. And always thank god.
