Dairy Farm Field Trip

Last month we took our homeschool group to a Dairy Farm for a field trip. The kids loved it. They got to feed the baby cows. They learned how the farmers milk the cows. The got to explore farm life and play with the farm dogs. Afterwards, we went to the farm store and bought ice cream. It was funny, though, you could tell which of our kids were city kids and which were country kids. The country kids were right at home and the city kids were dramatically complaining about the smell lol. I love watching the reactions and the unique personalities of the kids as they learn and grow

I was a city kid but I used to spend some weeks in summer at my grandparents farm, so I had the habit.

I agree. It’s interesting to see how kids behave under different circumstances. Kids can be surprising.

It is a field trip that attracts children to directly see the animals and get to know nature. Kids always look cute.
