So we tried something new tonight for dinner. My husband had seen goat meat on sale so we picked it up. Well we cooked it up today and we all tried some. My husband and oldest boy loves it. Myself, my daughter and my youngest son where like it’s okay we can it no problem but then my 11 year old daughter felt bad. She didn’t want to eat a baby animal. We told okay that’s fine that is very understanble. Lots of people have trouble eating baby animals. I did resume her this one was raised for food and it’s not all baby animals other baby animal are born and raised into adult hood before they even become food. She felt better with that. But couldn’t watch any more baby goat. Over all for me it’s a bit rich in taste so it’s something I’d have maybe a small amount here and there.

It looks delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever had goat meat before.

the is surely taste good, I'd love to eat young goats, my father used to keep goats a while until it grew a little bit and until we kill to cook it, usually when there are occasions like newyear or christmas

Yes some places in the word people are more familiar with eating goat. In my house we don’t eat typically but it was worth the try because you never know till you try if it’s something you like or not.

@ricotivi of course not. We down raise goats in the Us we do do lamb usually for clothes not for eating. Most likely pigs, chickens and cows here.

Why wouldn’t she be able to comprehend it? She is a 11 years old not 2. The same with the boys being 9 and 7. They know what babies are.

We don’t typically buy it either but the store had some and the price wasn’t bad so we said why not try it.
