Enjoying Quiet Time

Snapped some photos while walking around the yard yesterday evening. These trees are in my backyard. On the left is a Sycamore, on the right is a Tulip Poplar. In the middle are rows of Blue Murray Cypress trees. The birds enjoy all of these trees. Many nests were found in them this year. I enjoy them as well. Had coffee early in the screen room today. Brendel woke me up at 5:am with her air horn meow she uses these days. She is losing her hearing. Turned into a nice morning. Now the heat has arrived. Photo is mine.

Brendel doubles as an alarm clock by the sounds of things. That reminds me of Willow, when she wakes she does it in grand style also.

We are enjoying this cool day here today, the heat and humidity are expected to arrive in another day or two. I hope that you and the kitties are chilling, that is all that we are doing here. We just enjoyed a quick little nap on the couch, and now are searching for a show to watch.

@CarolDM I think that Willow's cries are a bit on the loud side because she listens to her Daddy too much, he has a big booming voice.

We're just chilling and relaxing here today too, its so nice not to have to go any place or do anything.

She is something with her meows. I know it is due to her hearing loss. Trying to be patient. And a relaxing day indeed.Enjoy your day. Thunderstorms later this afternoon I hope.

Thank you for always caring about her. She does seem ok with all she has on her plate. She is drinking lots of water, eating a little baby food in the evening, that gives her hydration as well. And she has a few hairball treats and a little dry food in the morning. And the rest of the time she is sleeping. I have to believe it is her hearing.

Wow. Just wow. That's a very relaxing view. Perfect spot to have coffee or just relaxing after a stressful day. I would love to have that kind of backyard.

Trying to catch up with some posts so I take a few from each I have missed, Lovely photo. I miss the walks in Latvia with the pines, firs, and even cypresses now I have rows of palms. Poor Brendel I know how she feels not knowing if you can here her. Tropical heat time in Florida.

I wish you were correct. The heat index is close to 100 degrees F. A heat wave has started here. These trees are evergreen.
